They were in town to attend a friend’s self-help book launch on Thursday.
They have been married for six years.
But on Thursday, Ellen DeGeneres, 56, and partner Portia de Rossi, 41, looked more in love than ever as they attended a friend’s book launch in Beverly Hills on Thursday.
No help needed: Ellen DeGeneres, 56, and Portia de Rossi, 41, attend Arianna Huffington’s Thrive book party hosted by Victoria Jackson, Kathy Freston And Dean Ornish on Thursday in Beverly Hills
The pair were dressed smartly for the occasion with Portia wearing a black suit and matching tie.
Ellen’s winning formula of her own talk-show has never been more successful than it is today.
Yesterday, Mila Kunis talked for the very first time about her pregnancy – revealing that she is planning to have a drug-free natural birth.
Speaking about her pregnancy for the first time, she said: ‘We thought about a home birth, we watched a couple of documentaries and spoke to some midwifes and people, and realised our hospital have the midwives and doulas who can do that.’
Hobnobbing: Portia – dressed in a smart black suit and tie – poses with friend Victoria Jackson
Secret of success: Ellen is seen with Dean Ornish and Carole Bayer Sager as they work the room at the book party in Beverly Hills
‘I’m going to do it as natural as I can, No epidural, I’m crazy, right. But I wanted this! I did this to myself, I might as well do it right. Well, I did have a little help…’
The brunette beauty also admitted Ashton has been so prepared during her pregnancy, he even stocked up on ‘goofy’ foods he thought she might experience cravings for.
And it seems everything is going well for Ellen in romantic life, as well her professional career too.
So in love! Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi looked happier than ever as they left a restaurant in West Hollywood after a romantic meal together last Friday
Ellen recently revealed she falls more in love with her wife Portia every day.
The chat show host is completely besotted with her actress spouse, admitting, ‘I love her so much it kills me,’ but revealed they don’t plan to have children because the responsibility is too big.
She explained to People magazine: ‘We’d probably be great parents. But it’s a human being and unless you think you have excellent skills and have a drive or yearning in you to do that, the amount of work that that is and responsibility – I wouldn’t want to screw them up!’.
So in love: Ellen – seen here with Portia in 2005 – says of her partner, ‘I love her so much it kills me,’
And Ellen couldn’t be happier with Portia even joking about rumours that Portia is demanding $220 million and a divorce.
She said: ‘Apparently she’s demanding $220 million! I’ll give it to her, I don’t care – she doesn’t have to leave me.’
Smitten Ellen admitted she is ‘corny’ when it comes to her feelings for her wife, gushing: ‘The truth is, and this is corny. I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do.
‘She surprises me all the time. She’s so funny, really smart, talented and kind. I love her so much it kills me.
Taking the wheel: Ellen drove herself and her wife home after their romantic meal together in West Hollywood
‘What amazes me is that it is never boring.
I make her laugh but she really makes me laugh.
‘It’s what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We’re really lucky because we know how rare that is.’
