Jennifer Lawrence is a dream in midnight blue gown as she shows off her incredible figure at X-Men premiere.

She plays a mutant who can change shape to look like any person in X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

But Jennifer Lawrence proved that the most impressive form she can assume is her own on Saturday as she arrived in a backless midnight blue gown to the premiere of the Marvel Comics film in New York.

The 23-year-old was dreamy as she showed off her incredible figure in the form-hugging in the dark coloured dress.

Displaying her hour glass figure, the gorgeous actress wore her blonde tinted locks into a tight knot as she swept her bangs over in a part.

Showing off the backless design of her gown, Jennifer struck a series of sultry poses that displayed her lean and toned back muscles.

Also at the premiere was Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde).

Jackman and Page both wore coordinate suits to the event, with nearly matching attire – except the Juno star opted for a tie whilst the Les Miserables actor went for an open collar.

Sporting a thick beard, the Wolverine star still had a bandage on his nose from his second surgery for skin cancer.

Page wore her brunette locks in flowing waves over her shoulders as she brought attention to her eyes with smoky make-up.

Meanwhile, Jackman’s Wolverine plays a pivotal role in the film, straddling two timelines when he is asked by the older Professor X (Stewart) to return to the past to persuade his younger self (James McAvoy) to change the past and therefore save the mutants of the future.

This means teaming up with his old friend and enemy Magneto (McKellen) whose younger self is again played by Fassbender.

A threat is posed by military scientist Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) whose company has created a range of robots called Sentinels whose purpose is to hunt and destroy mutants.

The film sees the return of many of the X-Men cast members from the original three film franchise including Halle Berry as Storm,  Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde and Anna Paquin’s Rogue.

It follows on from the hit 2011 film X-Men: First Class set in 1962 and set as a prequel to the trilogy.

‘This is a story about a bad future, not a bad situation with an individual, but a bad future and how do you go back and change that,’ the film’s director Bryan Singer told Collider earlier this year.

The film, again directed by Singer, is slated for release in the U.S. on May 23 and was filmed in Montreal, Canada last year.
