Stars of her stature usually have their luggage mysteriously whisked away when they arrive at an airport.
But Anne Hathaway was spotted on her own at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday and, what’s more, she was pushing her own black wheelie bag and balancing a large light brown suede tote on top.
Her producer husband, Adam Shulman, 33, wasn’t even there to see her off.

The Les Miserables songstress seemed to be coping just fine with her luggage as she made her way across the concourse.
Anne was dressed from head to toe in black, wearing a T-shirt, skinny jeans and sneakers, and she slung a small black bag over one shoulder.
With her dark tresses neatly cut into a cute pixie style and large sunglasses covering a lot of her elfin-like face, she looked much younger than her 31 years.

There was no indication where Anne was headed but the Cannes Film Festival is in full swing in the south of France at the moment and it’s possible she may be going there.
However, she was travelling without Adam, whom she married in September 2012, in Big Sur, California, in an interfaith Jewish and Roman Catholic service.
Anne recently opened up about her secrets to a successful and happy marriage, citing a regular ‘digital detox’ day as one of the keys.

‘We try to have a period of at least 24 hours when we’re off our phones, unplugged from technology and concentrating on being together,’ she said.
The star’s last movie was the hit animation, Rio 2, in which she reprised her role as the voice of Blue Macaw, Jewel.
She will next appear in the science fiction movie, Interstellar, starring Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine, about a team of space travellers who drop through a wormhole. The movie is schedued for release in November.
